Chuck Close at SFMOMA

http://wesandsarah.com/archives/images/DSCN1922-thumb.JPGSarah and I flew in to San Francisco this past Saturday on the way to Northern California to see the family for Thanksgiving this week. I found out a few weeks ago that the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art had a new show opening featuring one of my favorite artists, Chuck Close. Because the show actually opened Saturday, there were several special events scheduled including a book signing. We were able to meet Mr. Close and have our book from the exibition signed. It was a very cool experience. He was very nice and took time to speak with everyone and was gracious enough to pose for pictures with anyone who asked.

You can check out some of his artwork here... or see information about the exhibit here (which will be traveling to Atlanta's High Museum March 25 - June 18.

Cool! I was at the SFMOMA a few weeks ago to see a Robert Adams photography exhibit. My PT client has a membership, and I get in free.
