Beautiful weather for snowboarding yesterday (we're inside by the fire today because its pouring outside.)

We had a fun photoshoot (and not so fun hike) with Andy last Sunday. We got some good shots and will probably head out again soon to try some other locations Andy is scouting. More pics here...
Sarah and I flew in to San Francisco this past Saturday on the way to Northern California to see the family for Thanksgiving this week. I found out a few weeks ago that the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art had a new show opening featuring one of my favorite artists, Chuck Close. Because the show actually opened Saturday, there were several special events scheduled including a book signing. We were able to meet Mr. Close and have our book from the exibition signed. It was a very cool experience. He was very nice and took time to speak with everyone and was gracious enough to pose for pictures with anyone who asked.

Sarah was on the local ABC affiliate's midday news program this afternoon doing PR for work. It was her first time doing a live televised promotion and she did a great job! We thought a few of you might be interested in seeing it (whoever might be checking in here to see what we're up to)... so I've uploaded it here:

Buckley's California Grandparents bought him this denim jacket, but apparently, small is a large for our little guy. I was able to take it back and exchange it for something almost as cute. (The contents of this entry are in no way approved or endorsed by Wes Childers.)
This sign was next to the pond out behind the rental house in Hilton Head this past weekend.
On Saturday, Wes re-piped our outdoor faucet to a new location. I couldn't fit under the house with him, but apparently there was a lot of soldering and tapping. In any case, we have running water in the front yard again! Wes is amazing and I would hate to mention why the faucet was broken in the first place...
Sarah and I drove up to Atlanta for the Jimmy Eat World - Taking Back Sunday show at Gwinnett Arena last night. We had a great time and both bands sounded great! we're dragging a little this morning (after getting home and in bed about 2 am) but it was worth it.
Last night Wes and I had Andrew and Heather over for dinner, and they brought their daughter, Sarah Beth. Buckley has never been around a child before, but by the end of the night, they were best pals. This picture is of Sarah Beth about to give Buckley a kiss. TOO CUTE!
Sarah and I got to spend a few hours at the Augusta National this afternoon. You can probably tell from the photo that the weather was great. What you probably can't tell is that I'm holding the flag after switching places with Sarah because -- as she informed me (and everyone standing around) she "didn't want her armpit to show."
When I make the dog a sweater, there's one less old sock to be thrown away.

We're up in Atlanta for the weekend celebrating Sarah's birthday and this was the scene this morning.
Everything's coated in ice and will be until sometime tomorrow afternoon when the temperature gets up a little over freezing.... As usual around here, everything is pretty much shut down as people just aren't prepared to drive around with the roads in this condition and there just isn't the equipment to keep the roads clear like in cities a litle more used to this type of weather.
